Today to help creditors retrieve money owed to them, we have collection agencies. Perhaps the oldest such agency in Spokane, Washington is us Bonded Adjustment Company. We first opened our doors in building called Sherwood in 1916. This collection agency was founded by two attorneys Ted Eklow, and Warren W. Clarke better known as W.W. Clarke. .(NoSTALGIA, 2004)


W.W. Clarke was the President and Chief CEO of Bonded back then, he was also an influential person in founding the Regional Western States Collection Association, which is now known as the American Collectors Association or (ACA). ( NoSTALGIA, 2004)


Don Keenan bought Bonded from Eklow and Clarke in 1955.

In 1963, Keenan's son James L.Keenan began working at Bonded under the guidance of his father.

In 1970, James L. Keenan, along with his sister Charlene L. Erickson, began to purchase shares in the company.

In 2005, Bonded moved to 1229 W. First Ave
